Retreats remind us who we are and why we are here.

Self-care is an act of holy rebellion.

In a hyper-busy world focused on productivity, output, and profit, creating sacred space for ourselves enables us to listen to the quiet voice within. When we are in touch with our intuition, we are in touch with the divine. When we are in touch with the divine, we are able to access inspirational resources that were not present to us before.

Heal yourself so that you can heal the world…

The more chaotic and heartbreaking we find the world, the more crucial it is for us to be our most authentic selves, living our most empowered lives. Our personal healing has a ripple effect that impacts everyone we meet.

As we care for ourselves, we are better equipped to care for the world.

Liminal Time

Entering the liminal time of a retreat, removed from the demands of daily life, allows us to cultivate resilience, compassion, and perspective. We are able to refuel and re-energize, developing the rituals and inner resources we need to create a better life, not just for the few days we are away, but for every day we are alive.

A Sacred and Safe Container

My retreats offer a sacred and safe container for healing and a powerful opportunity for growth. I love fostering a supportive, nonjudgmental community where we can be daring and vulnerable, raw and real together. Whether we are in the mountains or by the sea, abroad or at home,  we will spend our days weaving together the magical and the practical, creating and sharing, delighting in beauty, and learning how find acceptance, empathy, and love for ourselves.

A Retreat Arc: The Healing Narrative

Hero’s Journey

Everyone has their own Adam and Eve. When we write our origin stories, revisiting where we come from and the people who raised us, we gain new perspectives and points of view into our own lives.

Origin Story

We mirror and reflect the archetypes, universal characters shared by humanity. When we discover the archetypes we’ve embodied in the past, we can begin to call in the archetypes we want to embody in the future.

Archetypes

Are you the hero of your own life? Trace the narrative arc of your own stories, discovering which themes, patterns, and universal characters you’ve encountered and that have shaped you along the way.

Past Retreats

  • When we befriend our inner dragons, we reclaim our power. Instead of fearing our darkness, we learn to harness it, integrating our shadow, and uncovering our light. This eight-day retreat wove together writing, yoga, meditation, Reiki, and energy work to transform and rewrite the stories of our lives.

  • On this special four-day retreat nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of Southwestern Virginia, we combined the narratives of our life experiences with the stories of our spirits. We used expressive writing, soul journeys, chakra balancing, guided meditations, and oracle cards, to allow our own intuitive wisdom to emerge on the page.

  • Winter is a special opportunity for going deeply within, processing the year past, and planting seeds for magic in the year to come This retreat was a weekend of writing, contemplation, and spellcasting at Shalom House, a retreat center nestled in 90 acres in the heart of Montpelier.

  • What do writing and mandala painting have in common? They can both uncover layers to the self. They can both help access the source from where we acquire our energy, self-worth, creativity and spontaneity. This retreat is designed to accommodate beginning painters and writers as well as those that make it their life’s work. goes here
