When picturing the afterlife I see you. In an endless field of dandelions we run. You pluck flowers to place in my unbrushed hair. Gentle kisses land on my button nose. Once the sun sets you pull me close. We dance under indigo skies. Our nights are spent chatting about our favorite things. Shooting stars pass too quickly to wish upon...what more could I ask for anyways? I have you here with me. I fall asleep to the sound of your heart beating, it is louder than the crickets. We wake in the morning and do it all again.
