To Caffeinate or Not to Caffeinate
I find myself at a crossroads this afternoon. You see, I am a creature of habit, and my caffeine habit for as long as recent memory serves has been a breakfast and lunch habit. Twice a day, pretty much every day. This is what I do.
Except for this weekend.
This weekend, I only had my morning caffeine. I went without my afternoon caffeine both days and only had to employ two ibuprofen and slept the sleep of the uncaffeinated, and it was actually kind of wonderful.
But is this a THING? Is this my new habit, or is it just a fluke? Do I want to commit myself to cutting back my caffeine to a once-a-day event?
Maybe this would be a good life choice...both for the health of my body and the health of my finances, but I already make a heck of a lot of good life choices, and I don't want to become entirely unrelatable to the rest of humanity.
My grandmother says I need a vice to stay human. I definitely don't want to be one of THOSE people who never does anything at all unhealthy and everyone (including me) kind of hates.
But, then again, I would still have my ice cream habit.
Is it enough?
