Editing and Story Coaching for Creative Nonfiction with Elizabeth Ferris

As an editor, Elizabeth helps guide writers to the other side of “writer’s doubt” to create stories that are the best manifestation of the wild and singular storyteller within. Her editing philosophy is based on the belief that the key to taking your writing deeper is understanding your voice and your strengths, not focusing on what you perceive is holding you back. In these one-hour sessions we’ll work together to hone your style, generate additional material, and move through roadblocks in your writing.

Sessions will be led by your goals, whether that is to complete an essay, work toward a full-length book, or simply learn more about your strengths as a writer.

To schedule a meeting, email Elizabeth at elizabeth@elizabethferris.com. Please include a short sample (up to 1,500 words) of some of your writing, as well as a little bit about what you’re looking to get out of our time together.

Pricing:

Initial session (90 minutes) - $100
One session (1 hour) - $75
Three-session package* - $200

*Please note, at this time the three-session package is only for the 1-hour sessions. An initial session should be arranged separately.
